Our story

From the operating seat to the advisory seat.

AgPro’s founders spent 28+ years inside multinational agribusinesses — running P&Ls, closing regulators’ doors, signing dealer agreements, commissioning plants, and watching the slow compounding of share and margin that distinguishes a genuinely well-run agri-enterprise from one that merely looks like one. That experience is the single thing we trade on.

We founded AgPro in 2018 to bring that operator depth to the consulting seat — because we had spent years on the receiving end of decks written by people who had never stood inside the operating context they were advising. The advisory work most agri enterprises actually need is not generic strategy. It’s judgment under constraint. Our founding bet was that there was demand for a firm that scoped its engagements around outcomes, priced them per deliverable, and staffed them with partners who had carried the same role as the client.

Seven years in, that bet has held. AgPro has run engagements across farm machinery, crop protection, food processing, horticulture, dairy, and agtech — from multinational India entries to Indian growth-stage transformations and PE / VC investment theses. Our headcount remains deliberately small. Our engagements are scoped narrowly. And every piece of work is still led personally by a partner who has operated in the sector.
